body found – Greenvale village

Body found near home.

The body of an elderly woman who disappeared from Greenvale village, near Broadmeadows, on June 21, was found one mile south of the village yesterday.

She was Mrs. Matilda Parrat, 84, who was not found in a week of intensive searching by 50 police and civilians during June.

First-constable J. C. O’Toole, of Broadmeadows, who found the body, said there were no suspicious circumstances.
