INMATES ENTERTAINED.
The patients of the Greenvale Sanatorium for Consumptives were entertained recently by a visiting party from Brunswick. If those who have the entertainment could have heard the grateful and congratulatory remarks which were told to the chaplain, the Rev. G. W. Ratten, vicar of Broadmeadows, they would have been amply rewarded for their laudatory efforts. The party was organised by Mr C. A. J. Dollman, who motored the party out, his assistants being Messrs. T. Williams (accompanist), Bert C. Howells, A. P. Green, Hicks, and C. H. Carter. All rendered excellent items, musical and elocutionary, which delighted those present, each being heartily encored. Supper was dispensed by the matron to visitors and patients. The Chaplain would be delighted to hear of other volunteers in this splendid ‘sunshine’ work.
