FORMER patients of Greenvale Sanatorium will meet at the sanatorium on October 14 to view the new buildings and be guests at afternoon tea.
Buses will leave Essendon at 2 p.m. and visitors will assemble in the new concert hall at 2130 p.m.
After a short programme of films they will be shown over the new buildings and entertained at afternoon tea.
On October 28 the annual dis play of patients’ handcrafts will be held. Dressmaking will be a feature.
The dressmaking tuition is a rehabilitation method and has been helpful to patients in making adjustments to their clothes at low cost.
It is hoped to add millinery tuition soon.
