SISTER BESSIA MARJORIE NICHOLAS was married at St. Augustine’s, Bourke st, city, on Saturday to Constable Brian Arthur James Featherstone.
The smiling couple are pictured above, cutting the wedding cake at the reception at the Hotel Alexander.
The bride, who was a nurse at Greenvale Sanatorium, is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Nicholas, of Cobden st., Bright.
The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Featherstone, of Wilson-st., Surrey Hills.
Constable Featherstone is stationed at Chatham.
